There are thousands of auction lots selling on a weekly basis at Great Collections. Heavily collected U.S. Gold commands most of the high-value bidding activity among collectors and dealers. 1795 $5 Gold Heraldic Eagle certified by PCGS MS62+ and CAC
The 1795 Heraldic Eagle $5 Gold had an original mintage of only five hundred coins. There are less than fifty listed in the PCGS and NGC population reports combined. Twenty-four are certified in the Mint State grades, a number likely skewed slightly by resubmissions. The highest grade listed is MS64 with three coins reported, two by PCGS and one by NGC. This 1795 PCGS MS62+ with the CAC approval sold for $272,250 in a GC Sunday sale on October 13. It is one of two coins listed in this grade; the last reported sale of the other was in 2018 by Heritage Auctions for $276,000.

1909 $20 St. Gaudens certified by PCGS PR66
The 1909 $20 Gold Saint Gaudens in Proof has over fifty coins listed in the pop reports in all grades from Proof62 through the highest grade of Proof69; the PR69 is certified by NGC and is currently listed for sale by one of our member dealers for $1.2 million. The last 1909 $20 St Gaudens in PR66 to sell at public auction was in 2020; the NGC certified coin brought $150,000. This PR66 certified by PCGS sold for $281,250 on September 22 in a GC Sunday auction. The original mintage for this date is a mere sixty-seven with likely less than fifty coins known to exist in all grades. This coin is quite lovely and seems like a bargain in today's market.
