United States Rare Coin Market

New Prices Reported

We continue to add new price information for high grade rarities. We are also finding so-called common issues that are worth much more than Type counterparts.

It looks like dealers are back in the market for Gold Indians. The $2 1/2, $5, and $10 Indians are in strong demand for most grades of MS62 and higher. Better dates are not readily available and it takes higher buy prices to bring these into the market.

The metals begin the week on a higher note once again. They seem to be moving forward on a very steady pace. Gold has moved above $650 this morning, but now is at $649.70; Silver was strong all last week and currently sits at $13.48. Platinum leaped to $1174.
