Major Auctions Feature Gardner Part II and 1853 Collection

October 27, 2014

Heritage Auctions is hosting Part II of the Eugene H. Gardner Collection Sale in New York City today; this is a one day auction that has advanced collectors and dealers bubbling with excitement. Like the first portion of this collection's sale, these coins reveal total original surfaces with lots of eye appeal and color. One of the many highlights certain to entice bidders is the 1823/2 Bust Quarter in NGC MS61 with the CAC sticker. There are only two Mint State coins listed in the population reports, both by NGC, this MS61 and an MS62. At this time we have no value reported for either grade. The following listings are some of the many potential highlights from this sale.
