NumisMedia Weekly Market Report
Highlights from the Heritage Signature Sale in Dallas
April 2, 2018
A major coin show is not necessarily required as Heritage Auctions hosted another Signature Sale in Dallas this past week. The Heritage mailing list is enough to make any of their sales successful. One of the highlights was the 1854 O $20 Gold Liberty in NGC XF45 which sold for $204,000. The Market for the XF40 was at $250,000; a decline is expected since there are no active buyers at this level. This is one of the key dates from the New Orleans Mint with just 3,250 coins minted. There are no reported Mint State coins from the grading services and only 32 in the circulated grades from VF30 to AU58.
