Highest Grade 1905 $20 Gold PR65+ Ultra Cameo Up for Bid

Platinum Night, hosted by Heritage Auctions at the upcoming Central States Numismatic Society event, has numerous rarities up for bid and one of the many highlights will certainly be the 1905 $20 Gold in NGC PR65+ Ultra Cameo. This is the highest grade in the Ultra Cameo condition, the only one certified by NGC and PCGS combined, and has no current listed Market price.

Also being offered is a 1793 Chain Cent AMERICA in PCGS AU53 with a large R in LIBERTY and has CAC approval; there are just 4 coins certified with the CAC sticker in AU53. The metals market has once again turned downward with Gold currently at $1,287.50. Silver is now back at $15 after dropping just under. Proof Silver Eagles in the OGP are trading at $39 - $40 wholesale and the one ounce Proof Gold Eagles are $1,328. Bags of 1,000 Silver Dollars in VG and better are trading at $20,565; 90% Silver is at $10,500.
Modern Lincoln Cents through Presidential Dollars, Commemorative Halves and Commemorative Dollars, are not very active unless they are highest grade Registry coins, even then most trades are discounted from previous levels. In the Commemorative Half chart, the 1993 S Bill of Rights Silver Half Dollar in PR70 DMPL fell to $260 Market and the 1993 P WWII 50th Anniversary in PR70 DMPL dropped to $240.
