A rather spectacular 1939 D Mercury Dime in MS69 FB with the CAC sticker brought $42,300; an extremely high premium, although several bidders felt comfortable with the final price. This is the only MS69 in the entire series that also has the CAC approval. Of course the original vibrant mix of colors helps add to the appeal of this magnificent coin.
